Cinnamon Rayne is a multi-hyphenate music artist. Her
inspirations are strongly influenced by her community, culture and the sounds of her
surroundings. Her passion for music grew at an early age because she recognized the
power it has and its ability to ignite people's behavior. Cinnamon explores different
aspects of music allowing her signature style to be interchangeable and dependent on
her creative preference. Her music could be described as a mixture of indie-pop
singer-songwriter, alternative and R&B. She enjoys fusing different genres because it
allows creative freedom; she believes music should not be restricted and bound to a
genre. From 2015-2019 Cinnamon created demo music and sound effects for Champlain College’s game design students. She is a featured musician on L Nesu’s “Love Here” EP, which highlights her original piano song “Bloom”. She has several current projects out "Wings" (2020) EP "Contact", instrumental album "Proximity" and latest single "Caroline".

Caroline
Mixed and Mastered by IG:@mixedbylewis.com
Here's a new song I just released today Oct. 24.
Inspired by Cinnamon's love for movies, specifically Psychological Thrillers, Fantasy, Dramas and Sci-Fi, "Caroline" was born. One of her favorites that influenced this song was The Lovely Bones because of its eerie unique style and the use of time manipulation in its storytelling. Similar to the movies' unique style, while writing, Cinnamon put herself in this narrative perspective but explored many perspectives of time by not defining whether the story was in the past, present or future.more

AstroNot
AstroNot is a play on the word astronaut. This song has one meaning, which is going beyond bounds and limits like an astronaut. However, it also can be interpreted as “contact high”, which is a phenomenon that occurs when people experience a drug-like effect just by coming into contact with someone who is under the influence of a psychoactive drug. more
