Artist Bio: Sof-jay My name is Clerence Lebogang Manzini, known on stage as Sof-jay. I’m a singer and songwriter from the beautiful town of White River in Mpumalanga, South Africa. My musical journey began in 2010, when I discovered my gift for vocal expression during local freestyle sessions with fellow artists. What started as casual cyphers quickly became the foundation for my passion and purpose. My sound is rooted in Afro-soul, R&B, and hip-hop, blending smooth melodies with heartfelt lyrics that reflect real-life struggles, love, and personal growth. Influenced by artists like Brenda Fassie, Usher, Wizkid, and Drake, I’ve carved out a unique voice that resonates with both street energy and emotional depth. Over the years, I’ve continued to write and record music that speaks to everyday people—music that heals, uplifts, and inspires.
