GloomCake is an experimental electronic project built around contrast: enormous sub-bass against empty space, intimate vocals against distorted bass, and vulnerable songwriting against music designed to physically move a room. Pulling from deep dub, minimal bass, hip-hop, R&B and stranger corners of electronic music, GloomCake avoids settling into a single genre. Tracks can move from whispered vocals and skeletal percussion into massive drops, crooked rhythms and surreal sound design without warning. After releases including TEETHING, I’M ALIVE, WHO ELSE BUT ME? and MELTING, the project enters its next chapter with LOW ORBIT—a darker, more atmospheric expansion of the GloomCake world.
