Damien M. Rudebush is an investigative journalist and community advocate based in Las Vegas, focusing on civil liberties, homelessness policy, and security oversight in Clark County. As the founder of the Brightday Institute and its outreach division, the Christian Safety and Intelligence Service, he works daily on the front lines assisting vulnerable individuals with crisis support, civil-rights guidance, and access to essential resources. An ordained minister and longtime volunteer, Damien brings years of experience from his work with Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, where he supported some of the region’s most at-risk residents. In addition to his public-service work, Damien is also an original music creator, producing his own compositions whenever time allows. His creative work complements his advocacy, reflecting the same commitment to authenticity, expression, and humanity that guides his journalism and community efforts.
