The art of songwriting... telling stories both uniquely personal and universal, is not an easy feat for even the most seasoned of artists. But Daniel Herr's poignantly introspective lyrics and breathtakingly soulful vocals achieve just that. His self-proclaimed genre, "sob-pop" is inspired by the authenticity of his heroes like Adele, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Amy Winehouse and Sam Smith. Born in Zurich, Switzerland, and growing up in Paris, France, Daniel has been singing and performing since early childhood. But it wasn't until after graduating from Oxford University and a year working for an international law-firm that Daniel decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee to hone his songwriting craft. Only a year after moving to Nashville, Daniel signed a publishing deal with Anthem Entertainment and Wrensong.
