'Work in Progress' is much more than just a phrase. In the 2nd grade, Daniel began writing music. What would he write about? God, of course. Even at a young age it was instilled in him the importance of knowing God. However, fast forward, and the gap between just knowing of God and having a personal relationship with him grew wider and wider. The song writing ceased as life continued and the world slowly began to negatively influence. Externally, everything was fine. Internally, everything was lost. Lies, addiction, hiding, living a double life… SIN. In order to change, surrender was the only option, and with surrender came FREEDOM. What the devil meant for destruction, God took and began to restore. This newfound freedom in Christ reignited the musical flame that had died within Daniel. This flame now burns brighter than ever before, and gives you a glimpse into the journey of a work in progress: danielholbrook.
