Alone
Established in 2018, Atlas is comprised of four young friends—Andy Swift (drums/vocals), Kevin Swift (bass/vocals), Mason Donovan (guitar/vocals), and Matt Gagliardi (guitar). The experimental rock band grew its roots in the dives and the underground scene of Lockport, a small city in western New York. The music they create is an eclectic blend of genres owing to varied musical influences. Their first single, “Alone”, questions modern society and its daily expectations, while delivering bristling guitar riffs. The band’s first studio album is due to be released in 2021.more

VICE: For the synthwave surfers and the cruisers of cathode ray tube coastlines. My most unashamedly synthy track ever! -- 🌴 -- This is one of the tracks where I am actually certain of its genre: synthwave! This is my most synthwavey track I have out of all my tracks. I have others, but they're not as synthwavey as this. -- Like most of my tracks, it started while goofing around on GarageBand trying to make new sounds. I found this one sound which was arpeggiated (where the notes repeat in a specific pattern) by default, but I decided to just create a MIDI region with custom notes in it instead of holding down the key to use the forced arpeggiator. What resulted was this series of plucks which you hear throughout this track. At that point I knew I was creating synthwave. And damn does it sound good. -- The title "VICE" is a reference to TV shows and video games set in the 80s, such as Miami Vice, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the latter being the strongest inspiration for this track. Listening to it makes me feel like I'm cruising down a beach road during a sunset, hence the cover art. There would be a car shown but unfortunately I suck at designing cars! ='( -- 🌴 -- You can hear this on other platforms of your choosing, like Bandcamp, YouTube, and Spotify, at https://linktr.ee/MOULE! -- Follow me on https://twitter.com/MOULEofficial for the latest MOULE updates!more
