Wrote this song after Cloud Highways. It is based on a true story on a hot summer day in August of 2018 in the Netherlands on Costa del Zeumeren. I had spend the whole morning running in the sun but had a meeting with a friend, at a lake. Because my legs where still tired of running I couldn't join her swimming. But watching her swim and enjoy the water, made me fell in love with her. Shortly afterwards we began dating and became lovers.more

I wrote this song driving through the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany with my girlfriend. I was mourning the passing of a friend whom I made music with in 2022. I used our old work, and new inspiration I got from 80's city pop.more
