Hackey OG is an American artist, rapper, producer, and sonic architect known for his innovative fusion of breakbeat hip-hop and electronic music. Cultivating a sound that challenges genre norms—Hackey merges warm analog synthesis with futuristic soundscapes using carefully crafted mixing techniques, creating a groundbreaking experimental sound. Drawing from his roots in songwriting and beat production, Hackey OG infuses layers of sequenced synthesizers, drippy keys and neck-breaking percussion with crispy, hard-hitting vocals born from real-life experiences. His music lives in the space between retro and radical, where gritty boom-bap beats collide with shimmering EDM atmospheres. Forging a lane that remains to be merged with eschewing trends in favor of texture and tone, OG crafts tracks that are as raw as they are refined. Vocoded vocals weave through dusty vinyl samples and cinematic orchestration that is processed in to a digital swirl of sound science.
