Scheduled for release on August 28th, 2026, this song marks the 3rd track in The Woods, Hotel’s On Fire’s debut album. Featuring new production techniques, new mic placements, new arrangement philosophy… On top of it all, it’s a rewritten track from a demo I wrote ten years ago in a MIDI file that I eventually decided was unplayable. A snippet of that same MIDI is in the song, accompanied by guitar, in each bridge section, slowed to 100BPM instead of the original 130BPM. Turns out 130 BPM sixteenth notes is a bit intense for guitar players who haven’t been doing that for a billion years. So tell me. Does it slap?more

If You’re Ready is a bold, soul-baring anthem about stepping into the unknown with courage and self-belief. The track captures the intensity of facing pivotal moments, where fear and determination collide, and challenges listeners to take the leap if they’re ready to embrace growth and transformation. Driven by gritty guitar riffs, a thunderous rhythm section, and raw, emotive vocals, the song weaves a sonic narrative of resilience and self-empowerment. With lyrics that explore vulnerability, bravery, and the willingness to face life head-on, “If You’re Ready” invites listeners to reflect on their own readiness to overcome obstacles and embrace change. For those who crave a mix of hard-hitting rock and deep emotional introspection, If You’re Ready delivers an unforgettable journey of empowerment and fearless authenticity.more

This is the story of a girl… No, seriously. I met a girl, she is really cool, she makes my life easier, we get along. This is a story of appreciation for her. This is also the first time I’ve written a track with no screaming or any kind of breakdown outside of rock style breakdowns in nearly ten years. Born from playing pop rock guitar tracks, this song was an attempt to capture how she makes me feel, as well as try new editing and mixing techniques, and is holistically, in my opinion, my best song yet. But please, tell me… does it slap?more
