Beat ’Em Up” is a raw, faith-driven anthem about spiritual warfare, redemption, and resilience. Blending the energy of street grit with unshakable devotion to God, Richard Ricks delivers a bold declaration of victory over sin, temptation, and darkness. Every line hits like a punch — not against people, but against the demons, lust, and negativity that try to pull believers down. With a mix of powerful imagery and heartfelt conviction, Richard shows his inner battle between good and evil — how faith, scripture, and the power of Jesus turn pain into purpose. “Beat ’Em Up” is more than a song; it’s a spiritual fight song for anyone overcoming their past and standing tall with God beside them. The chorus — “Fighting my demons I beat ’em up, fighting the lust and I tore it up” — becomes a mantra of strength and deliverance, reminding listeners that no darkness stands a chance when God’s light leads the fight.more
