I’m Joan Dávalos (aka Jose Antonio) – novelist, lyricist, and the pen behind Ciudad Silente. I don’t sing—but I breathe life into songs. I’m a full-stack lyricist: I craft both the words and the melody, shaping emotions into music that lingers, wounds, or heals. Think of me as the gardener in your creative field—cultivating your story, pruning the noise, and letting what’s true bloom. I write what others feel but can’t phrase. Faith without fluff. Pain without polish. Love with teeth. ‘Deep Love’ was born in darkness. ‘Misty Jane’ grew from heartbreak. ‘No More Flies’ was my personal exorcism. I don’t follow trends—I follow the wound. If you’ve got something real to say but don’t know how to say it—I do.
