Aliyah Flowers aka Lia DéShané is a singer, songwriter, dancer and fluent in piano. Hailing from Chicago, Ill, Lia DéShané got her start in musical theater. Booking the lead role in a school musical and recording the soundtrack at the Lyric Opera Chicago led to her jobs with The American Girl Revue and The Color Purple National Tour. In 2008, Lia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her passions even further. At the age of 14, Lia was handpicked to join “No More Drama,” a multicultural girl group managed by Howie Durrough of The Backstreet Boys. After 2 years with the group, Lia left to focus on her solo artistry and began writing for other artists (Zendaya, Mayjah Myjah and Kenny Lattimore, etc.). Taking some time to attain her BS from Loyola Marymount, Lia began her mentorship under Khris Riddick-Tynes . Since graduating in 2018, Lia has dedicated all her free time towards her craft. Writing and recording songs that she can't wait to share with the those kind enough to listen.
