Indianapolis’s own Lil Jody premiered 2022 with a distinctive sound that has helped create his own musical genre. He has continued to share his pain by telling his story and experience with the world through his songs. Growing up, Lil Jody would often join his brother at studio sessions at the Jig Fam Studio located on the west side of Indianapolis, Jody took it upon himself to learn the dynamics of being an artist and the necessity’s of building a personal studio. Despite major setbacks and a system designed to destroy him, Lil Jody has continued to rise above and drop hits such as “Pretty Maintenance” and “Sorry Mama”.
