Hello, we are Lipsum…
As Lipsum, we came together in Istanbul in 2022 and stepped into the alternative rock scene. This band, which we founded after meeting in a music group at ITU, was born with the idea of bringing together Brit rock and indie rock influences with Turkish lyrics. As Ömer Sayan (vocals), Mete Alp Potuk (electric guitar), Eren Yüksel (drums) and Salim Beyden (bass guitar), we melted our different musical tastes in a common pot and aim to add our own interpretation to alternative music.
In 2024, we met with our listeners with our first single "You Also Know" and we currently continue to work with excitement on new projects. As a group, we believe in the power of music and the magic of producing together. We aim to bring our music to wider audiences with our singles, albums and stage performances in the future.

Nasıl Olurduk?
Our New Tune Just Released!
We are so excited to announce our second song! It is about past loves but with a funny twist (it's in Turkish). We worked on the arrangement a lot. It is simple, restful and full of joy. So please enjoy and let us now what you think!

Biz Lipsum.
