Migs is telling the story of a foreign gay man in his early twenties living in London. With a simple narrative he is asking a clear question - 'what did you expect'. What did you expect minorities would do as a response to oppression? The EP's lead single features a minimalist electro-pop language with distinct hip-hop beats. Migs' signature sounds consist in powerful buildups that transition into unexpected sections. In this single the merge of low-phi keys with strong bass lines is being amplified creating a 3D audio experience. As a result from travelling between London and Lisbon Migs also found the value of cultural gaps. His debut EP shows his experience in adapting to fit in the fast-paced London, where he found his liberation. Migs tells the story of all the young people who have moved abroad and have struggled to stay on the right path.
