Savage Mind is an up-and-coming Bay Area Jazz Musician turned rapper/producer. His style meshes smooth and soulful harmonies with the exhilarating bounce of G-funk and Boom Bap rap but with a Bay Area bounce. He is heavily influenced by classic hip-hop, west coast gangsta rap, bebop, stretch music, neo-soul, soul, funk, bebop, hardbop, and blues.
In 2019, he independently released his debut album 1995 and threw a very successful release show with his record label, Soul Vision Records, on July 18th at the former Uptown Night Club in Oakland.
