Hello from Croatia!
My name is Peter Renwood, and "Crazy Wild Horses" is my passion project. As a harmonica player and a songwriter deeply inspired by the raw storytelling of legends like Kris Kristofferson and Johnny Cash, my goal is to revive the authentic spirit of Traditional Country , Outlaw Country and Americana.
This project is a unique international collective. I write the songs here in Croatia and then collaborate with a rotating lineup of world-class session musicians—from South America to Nashville—to bring them to life.
I'm dedicated to creating timeless, "no-compromise" country music. Hope you enjoy the sound! Please follow me on Spotify and Youtube channels if you like my music.Thank you 🤠🎶

Angelica
A beautifully slow, atmospheric country ballad driven by a melancholy, weeping pedal steel and a steady, somber drum beat. It features a raw, vulnerable spoken-word bridge before building into a powerful, desperate vocal finalemore

Black Haaired Girl
Hello, I’d like to share my latest track, a raw tribute to the legends of Outlaw Country. To capture the authentic "grit" of the Highwaymen era, I’ve collaborated with a world-class team: Nashville legend John Heinrich on pedal steel and the iconic Andrija Tokić (known for Alabama Shakes) on mastering.
The song features a genuine Texas-born vocal . We intentionally avoided the polished, over-produced Nashville sound to stay true to the dusty, intense mood of the genre. Highlights include an evocative straight-harp solo and a lonesome fingerpicking outro. This is real Americana for those who value soul over polish.
