Writing “MOOD”, I was actually inspired by real cases of Erotomania, a delusional disorder causing an individual to believe that someone, typically famous or otherwise unattainable, is in love with them. The lyrics tell a fictional story about an unstable woman who’s convinced she’s having a love affair with a high-profile, married man. Her fixation with him can clearly be detected from the very first sentence of the song. While the story is actually quite a sad one, the music is very upbeat and I really wanted that contrast. // NEA.more
