REPLY
"REPLY" was born from an idea I've lived through myself, and one that many people have probably experienced at some point. Sometimes there comes a moment when you already know the answer. Not because it was spoken. Precisely because it never was. When someone hesitates for a long time between two paths, between two people, a part of me eventually understands what that hesitation means. My mind already knows that if I were truly an obvious choice, the question probably wouldn't exist anymore. That's when a boundary appears. In this song, I end up saying: "Don't text me again." It's not a threat. It's not anger. It's not even a way of punishing someone. It's simply the moment when I finally accept the answer I never received. But that's also where the entire contradiction of "Reply" lives. Because at the exact moment I draw that line, another truth continues to exist in silence. My mind already knows the negative answer. But my heart also knows the other one. The one that requires no reflection. The one that doesn't compare. The one that doesn't place anyone in competition. The one that doesn't hesitate. The obvious choice. That duality is what inspired me. An idea that reminds me of the famous line from Le Cid: "Go, I do not hate you." The words say one thing. The subtext says another. When I sing "Don't text me again," I accept that reality's answer is probably no. But somewhere between the lines, I'm still whispering: "Don't text me if you're still hesitating." "Don't text me if you're still comparing." "Don't text me if you're still searching." A part of me is convinced it already knows the answer. But whether that answer will ever exist in reality is another story. ======================================== #VERSE He leaves you waiting on replies Then says he just needs space sometimes I won't say he's a narcissist But he's checking every box on the list You keep collecting red flags Still saying every warning sign's alright Everybody sees the signs, bigger than hashtags Except the one who's living it tonight #PRE-CHORUS Every time you tell the story The ending never really changes Still you're looking for the glory In something that feels strange #CHORUS Why do you text me and never really reply? Your WhatsApp views are always instant, don't lie Why do your messages feel so programmed? I know you'd be better with me, not only on Instagram I know I could give you what you need But if all our moments together don't plant the seed You still can't see the difference between my love and his pain I won't block your name, don't text me again #VERSE One good weekend buys more time For old excuses dressed to shine You call it working through hard times I call it crossing warning signs A few green flags appear again Just enough to pull you back in pain Every time you're ready to leave Something makes you stay and grieve #PRE-CHORUS Another promise, another reason Another chance to make a new season Yet the answer you're protecting Keeps you awake at night, bleeding #CHORUS Why do you text me and never really reply? Your WhatsApp views are always instant, don't lie Why do your messages feel so programmed? I know you'd be better with me, not only on Instagram I know I could give you what you need But if all our moments together don't plant the seed You still can't see the difference between my love and his pain I won't block your name, don't text me again #BRIDGE Take his hand Take mine Choose the future you believe in But if your heart still needs time To decide between us tonight Then the answer isn't hidden It's already been given #OUTRO So choose him If that's where your feelings stay I'd rather lose you completely Than watch you hesitate Choose him And let the answer finally be Because the right love never wonders Who it's meant to bemore

The Affair
I wrote this song about something I rarely hear people talk about honestly. Most songs about infidelity focus on the betrayal itself. This one is about what happens after. When my partner cheated, I thought love, commitment and enough effort could repair anything. I tried to do what books, therapists and relationship experts recommend. I tried to rebuild trust. I tried to forgive. I tried to believe that time would eventually heal the wound. But something had changed inside me. Every trigger became an investigation. Every notification became a question. I caught myself checking, analyzing and looking for clues in places I never would have looked before. Not because anyone told me to do it, but because I couldn't stop myself. It was as if my mind was constantly searching for evidence that could calm a fear that refused to go away. Over time, I realized something painful. It wasn't the infidelity that kept hurting me. It was hope. The hope that one day I could feel exactly the way I did before. The hope that forgiveness would eventually become real. This song isn't about refusing to forgive. It's about discovering that you can genuinely want to forgive someone and still never recover what was lost. The hardest truth wasn't that she cheated. The hardest truth was realizing that I stopped loving her the day it happened, and that it took me years to admit it to myself. The more I loved her, the longer the illusion could live on. =========================================== #VERSE The night I found out, my whole world changed Nothing around me felt the same I asked 'Do you love him?' through the pain You swore you'd never cross that line again #PRE-CHORUS So we started healing slow Learning things we didn't know Trying hard to let it go #CHORUS Why did you have that affair? You knew me so much better than anyone there I have the strength to fool myself when I say I'm over And yet you know so well that it's game over My own lie when I say I could love you again Can't even put out my pain So don't blame me if I held onto hope for so long The more I loved you, the longer the illusion could live on #VERSE I checked your Snapchat every night Watched your last seen for a sign Shared locations became our life Still hypervigilance stayed by my side #PRE-CHORUS Called it trauma repair Called it conscious love and care Still the wound was sitting there #CHORUS Why did you have that affair? You knew me so much better than anyone there I have the strength to fool myself when I say I'm over And yet you know so well that it's game over My own lie when I say I could love you again Can't even put out my pain So don't blame me if I held onto hope for so long The more I loved you, the longer the illusion could live on #BRIDGE I hid an AirTag in your car Tracked every place, near and far Read deleted chats at 2 AM And called it healing once again #CHORUS Why did you have that affair? You knew me so much better than anyone there I have the strength to fool myself when I say I'm over And yet you know so well that it's game over My own lie when I say I could love you again Can't even put out my pain So don't blame me if I held onto hope for so long The more I loved you, the longer the illusion could live on #OUTRO You had one affair I collected proof You broke the trust I kept chasing truth I wasn't fighting for our love I was fighting with my fears The truth is I stopped loving you The day you had the affairmore
