Hopium is a post-apocalyptic love song set in a dystopian New York City. A young man searches for his lost love who he has been separated from for reasons unknown. The city is flooded, he navigates through it using canoes and boats. The submersion of the buildings in the flooded city serves as a powerful metaphor for the young man's lost lover, who is also lost in the vastness of the post-apocalyptic world, submerged and hidden from sight and memory.more
