The intro of “Hargez Nakhaab Kourosh” begins with the traditional Persian instrument Setar, accompanied by a gentle guitar arpeggio. The Setar is an instrument that naturally uses quarter-tones, but in this piece we chose to work with semitone intervals. The vocals were recorded very clean and natural, with careful attention to preserving headroom in the mix to maintain clarity and dynamics.more
