“Gyeongju, where you first held my hand…” “…and never let go.” I wore hanbok, sky so blue You said I looked like a queen to you We danced past walls that whispered names But ours, oh babe, will never fade Golden tiles and sunset breeze Your laughter echoed through the trees Lanterns lit and temples high But your smile stole the sky Cheomseongdae stars in your eyes My heart races through Hwangridan nights Gyeongju’s old, but this feels new Every step I take, I fall for you You shine like Gyeongju, brighter than gold Even time can’t make this love grow old Our names in stone, our hearts in light With you, the past feels just right From royal paths to bike ride laughs We're writing history on this map You shine like Gyeongju, can't deny This love was born beneath this sky Coffee stop, you tease me slow Your scarf flies wild in hanbok flow You spin me once, we almost fall But I don’t mind — I’ve got it all Tourists pass, but I just see A thousand years looking back at me Through you, this city’s more alive With every laugh, I feel us thrive If love had form, it’d look like this Pagodas, sunset, one shared kiss Let history sing what we can’t say Gyeongju, remember us this way You shine like Gyeongju, fire and flame In Seokguram light, I see your name Let ages turn, let stories pass We found forever built to last Hold my hand in palace light You and me — just feels so right You shine like Gyeongju, hear me say: “I’d choose you again, every day” “From Gyeongju… to us.” more
