The first lines to the song 737 were written on a whim at 7:37 PM on a random weekday. I'd had the chorus written and re-written about 5 times before coming up with lyrics to go with it. It's about that helpless feeling when a relationship is falling apart and the emotions you go through after you decide to let it go and just pretend everything is okay while trying to move on.
