Heartstrings (and Zombie Things) is a singer-songwriter love song with an unexpected zombie twist. It’s about two people holding on to each other, not just through life’s usual ups and downs, but through a full-on apocalypse. The song is both romantic and adventurous, capturing that “we’re in this together, no matter what” vibe with a fun, cinematic edge. Acoustic guitar lays down a warm, intimate base, making it feel like a classic love song, while electric guitar adds just the right amount of grit and intensity. Bass and subtle percussion keep the rhythm steady, like a heartbeat, grounding the song even as the lyrics dive into survival and romance. It’s heartfelt, a little gritty, and definitely unique.more
