Sometimes people ask me if writing so many songs about love means I've finally figured it out.
The truth is... not even close.
I've read the books, listened to the podcasts, watched love coaches explain what every text message means, when to reply, when to walk away, how to become "high value"... and for a while, I almost believed love could be learned like a recipe.
"Love Coach" is my way of smiling at that idea.
Because if love really followed a set of rules, none of us would spend sleepless nights overthinking a "seen", a late reply, or someone who keeps coming back just to pull away again.
In the end, I don't think love is about saying the perfect thing or playing the perfect game.
I think the right person simply makes love feel a lot less complicated.
And maybe... that's the only lesson worth teaching.
========================
[VERSE]
Blue ticks glowing on my phone
Still I slept here all alone
Friday, "Baby, miss your face"
Sunday, "Maybe we need space"
You kept hearts beneath my name
Still you played a different game
Every kiss pulled me back in
Every silence let doubt win
[PRE-CHORUS]
Every reel said, "Know your worth"
Every book could heal the hurt
Everybody sold the cure
Still my heart wasn't sure
[CHORUS]
If I was a love coach
Even just for a day
I'd never call it love
If you always pull away
If I was a love coach
I'd stop chasing "what ifs" again
'Cause someone who really wants you
Will never make you guess
[VERSE]
Read receipts became my proof
Building castles from no truth
You'd say, "Trust me, nothing's wrong"
Then disappear for way too long
Late night texts at 2 AM
Made me fall right back again
Giving just enough to stay
Never enough to make me stay
[PRE-CHORUS]
Maybe I was searching signs
Trying hard to change your mind
Maybe love is really clear
When two hearts both volunteer
[CHORUS]
If I was a love coach
Even just for a day
I'd never call it love
If you always pull away
If I was a love coach
I'd stop chasing "what ifs" again
'Cause someone who really wants you
Will never make you guess
[BRIDGE]
Funny how I chased advice
Like love could be a sacrifice
Truth was standing in plain sight
Love should never feel like a fight
[CHORUS]
If I was a love coach
Even just for a day
I'd never call it love
If you always pull away
If I was a love coach
I'd stop chasing "what ifs" again
'Cause someone who really wants you
Will never need a love coach thenmore
