Lowlife
This one is a little different, it's gonna be the last song on our EP. It's a bit more poppy sounding. I wanted it to be structured kind of like my personality: it's a very heavy and sad subject, but the beginning melody is bouncy and poppy because I always take things as a joke, then the bridge brings in the heavy rock which winds down to a very soft part, which represents when I'm alone and the full weight of the subject hits me. Then the ending explodes, with the vocals being almost angry, as this subject is very hard for me to accept and deal with. And the ending gang vocals bring it back to a joke, because ultimately that's how I look at life. As a joke. And because this was recorded during COVID, the gang vocals are just my producer and I doing multiple takes :) Written by: Christina Howard and Dean Gray Performed by: brightside Producer: Dean Gray Recorded, mixed, and mastered at Bristol Studios in Boston, MAmore
