Paying homage to the classics sounds of Motown She moves down the street with a smile and a beer She’s looking at everybody who is trying not to stare Her smile is the melody you play rhythms to in a dream singing along she laughs like she knows just what you mean She’s my kinda girl, a vision to behold She walks with a purpose never doing what she’s told She doesn’t play fair, she doesn’t’ play by the rules She walks like fire while the ground below her cools She’s my kinda girl She’s my kinda girl Every eye is upon her drawing hopes and sweet despair She’s looking at everybody who is trying not to stare The water seems inviting though you know what lies below the danger looks exciting the place you’re willing to go She’s my kinda girl, a vision to behold She walks with a purpose never doing what she’s told She doesn’t play fair, she doesn’t’ play by the rules She walks like fire while the ground below her cools She’s my kinda girl She’s my kinda girl You can’t take your eyes off her as you study her every move It stirs something primitive an instinct you can’t refuse Every eye is upon her drawing hopes and sweet despair She’s looking at everybody who is trying not to stare Her smile is the melody you play rhythms to in a dream singing along she laughs like she knows just what you mean She’s my kinda girl, a vision to behold She walks with a purpose never doing what she’s told She’s my kinda girl She’s my kinda girl lyrics co=written with Bob Intinimore
