YGGDRASIL FALL: One of the best tracks I've ever released! -- 🍂 -- I am so happy with this drum and bass track, because this is the track that best describes my carefree, adventurous "live and let live" personality, as well as my love for forests. I feel Yggdrasil Fall depicted this attitude so accurately, both musically and visually, which for me is tricky to do. The cover art for this was fun to make and I'm so satisfied with how it turned out. -- The title and cover for this track, are also references to Norse mythology. Yggdrasil was described as the "world tree", with branches and roots leading to nine different worlds. Ratatoskr, a squirrel who is Yggdrasil's "messenger", is depicted here. He adds in scandalous gossip in messages sent between the great eagle on top of Yggdrasil, as well as Níðhöggr, the evil dragon which resides below Yggdrasil, in the hopes the two will clash and maybe cause Yggdrasil to fall (hence the track's title). -- "Fall" is also another word for "autumn", my favourite season. Yggdrasil Fall is not just an expression of myself, but also of the entropy that happens in nature. It reminds us life is ephemeral, and that we need to make the most of it! -- 🍂 -- I hope this track was lovely to listen to!
