We all meet people who tell us what we should do, what we can’t do, or how the game is supposed to be played. This song is about realizing that a lot of them aren’t necessarily trying to destroy your path. They’re projecting their own limits onto it, then giving themselves the authority to turn those limits into rules for everyone else. ‎ I don’t blame them. I just have no reason to give them that authority. I’d rather play by my own rules, and I encourage everyone to do the same.
