Celebrating 50 Years of Songwriting! I wrote this song fifty years ago when I joined the College Jazz Band! - At the the beginning of my music career, fifty years ago, all I wanted to do was learn guitar and play in a band. I did both, as I played professionally in a Top 40 Band here in Southern California as well as played in the Community College Jazz Band. I also bagged groceries for tips, and carried 16 units of college credits, majoring in Electrical Engineering and Music Theory. - I was a very busy boy. - So I wrote this song. It’s the first song I had written and performed in public. - Here’s my version 50 years later. I played all the instruments and sang it as well. The brass instruments were played on a keyboard and converted into midi scripts. - I sincerely hope that you enjoy this work of love and a lifetime of music.
