I wrote this song during the midst of the pandemic, feeling lost, anxious, reflective, loved, and hopeful all at once. And very, very nostalgic. I would often think back to those VHS tapes I would watch as a kid, feeling tangled amidst this in-between of wanting to "rewind the tapes" vs. fast forward to better days; replay the moments I felt happiest.
