Lisboa was inspired by my time there. While producing this song, I pictured being in old Lisbon during a summer night, walking down the cobbled streets illuminated orange by street lamps, with the sound of buskers floating through the air. Using this imagery has given the song a very nostalgic feel. However, it is still very much a future house track. The song has jazzy vocals, warm chords, and a house style drum beat, creating the embodiment of Lisboa portraying her as a romantic partner.
