"Dance With Me This Christmas Time" is about those moments when the atmosphere of Christmas inevitably takes us back to the Christmas before. Sometimes, it leaves behind a strange sense of nostalgia: a sudden, fleeting desire to take a quantum leap back, just long enough to return to that missed date and imagine what it might have become. ‎ I know Christmas isn’t here yet, but gifts, just like music, take time to prepare. So maybe this is a little reminder for anyone who feels like creating something for that special time of year. I’d love to hear all your Christmas songs as the end of the year comes rushing toward us. ‎ [VERSE] Snow lights up the frozen glass Time keeps moving much too fast As crowds embrace the holiday glow Yet everyone dreams how their day will go ‎ [CHORUS] Dance with me this Christmas time Easy now, don't back out this time Now with me this Christmas time You and I this Christmas time ‎ [VERSE] Snow keeps writing out your name Through the cold I feel the same All those dreams refuse to fade Yet one last step remains unmade ‎ [CHORUS] Dance with me this Christmas time Easy now, don't back out this time Now with me this Christmas time You and I this Christmas time ‎ [VERSE] Some wishes don't need to be said Tonight they're running through my head All those lonely years are gone You're the one I'm waiting on ‎ [PRE CHORUS] No more waiting for the light Only you and me tonight We can leave those years behind ‎ [CHORUS] Now with me this Christmas time Easy now, don't back out this time Let the whole world rush on through Lights of Christmas over you You and I this Christmas time Snow keeps slowly falling down Those old gifts still waiting there And let's trim the tree we planned last year You and me the whole night throughmore
