I'm a nearly 60-year-old man with lots of stories to tell. I've kept journals my whole life and often turn my experiences into poems. It used to stop there. I've also had a long-time love of music and was a professional, classically trained musician in my youth. So, I turned these poems into lyrics, bought a MIDI device, performed the melody I wanted a singer to sing along with my lyrics to SUNO. Take the one that closest matches my melody. Download and strip all of the stems that are not vocalists and replace the rest with my own MIDI performances. I use Logic Pro for this and for my own pre-mastering. Unfortunately, a lot of what SUNO puts out as "vocals" requires heavy mastering, which I am getting better at doing as time goes by. Give the lyrics a listen. Critique them or my music.
