Amerikan Junk - MN Punk. A 4-Piece Skate-Rock-Punk Hardcore from Middle MN. Originally FatWreck inspired, "Junk" blends 80s, 90s, 00s punk/hardcore with their own musical sensibilities, influences, plus some half-assed melodies and harmonies to make something of their own. Forged in the fires of the politics and events at the turn of the century ('98-'99) has often made the themes of their songs politically charged, but usually with more focus on the human condition. Originating and still basically operating from locations in central MN, Junk has members from St Cloud, Mankato, Willmar and Shakopee. Come see them play in venues in the Twin Cities & around the state and be on the look out for their 2026 LP "Smoke in the Freedom".
