Blodvidr

Gothenburg

Blodvidr is a non-political music project creating epic Viking Metal, Death Metal, Folk Metal, and Nordic-inspired metal. The music draws from Nordic mythology, historical battles, heroic storytelling, epic riffs, and atmospheric metal, and is created for enjoyment, inspiration, and connection among listeners, offering energy, intensity, escape, and epic atmosphere rather than ideology. All mythological and historical elements are used purely in an artistic and cultural context. Blodvidr takes a clear stand against racism, extremism, and xenophobia.
