Native New Yorker, Bruce Mack is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and band leader that experiments with vocal improvisation, funk, rock and other forms of music. Mack's arsenal includes synthesizer, electric bass, percussion and drum set. Bruce Mack is former president of the Black Rock Coalition. Since 1999, I've been a recording, touring and a conducting participant in Burnt Sugar the Arkestra Chamber, with a few songs pinned to my credit. As a result of that work, I've had the honor of being band leader/vocal arranger for the late playwright, actor/filmmaker/composer-Melvin Van Peebles’ wid/ Laxative band. I'm presently composing for my band B-MACK and contribute as performer and writer in the bands Nubian Messengers, Eigthy-pound Pug: Alex Lozupone Project, Rules Of Aquah and the experimental house music project Michael Cox&Bruce Mack. Notable is an upcoming collaboration with original PBR Streetgang co-hort Kenneth Edmonds.
