WE ARE CALIDUS A shimmering guitar, a bright piano, tight and creative drums and the voice of Jochem Numan are often the backbone of Calidus’ pop/rock songs. Their first EP – Meet My Expectations – is a trek through emotional ballads and powerful anthems all with that indistinguishable Calidus sound. On top of playing their instruments, each member of the band uses their own specialities to make the whole thing happen. Jochem for example took on the responsibility to mix and record the EP while his younger brother, Eelco, made all of the artwork. Musically, inspiration is drawn from Coldplay, Oasis, Keane and many more. Calidus had hoped to continue playing shows all throughout 2020 but since those had to be cancelled, they instead focussed on perfecting their repertoire. This EP is recorded and mixed independently.
