Cranky Alexander, from the depths of Canada, has always been drawn to the enchanting world of music but picked up guitar relatively late (16) and embarked on a self-taught musical journey. Starting off in the Grunge era and influenced by the likes of Zeppelin, Clapton, Marvin Gaye, and Kravitz, Cranky cultivated his own blend of rock, blues, soul, and funk. Equipped with guitar, bass, and vocal abilities, Cranky became a skilled songwriter, producer, and all-around musician. He’s currently in acclaimed tribute Genesis Visible Touch (guitar, bass backing vocals), The Phil Collins Songbook (bass) as well as this original music project. Alexander has taught music students of all ages, theory, production, guitar, bass, and vocals. Cranky's music stands out with evocative chords and lyrics set against a backdrop of bluesy and infectious melodies.
