Music was my first love and it will be the last! These words by John Miles impressed me so much, that I decided to become a professional musician and composer already in the early eighties of the last century. Borned near Cologne (Germany) in 1964 I studied classical violin at the age of 10 and attended several orchestras 3 years later. Because I was also fascinated by Pop and Rock music at the age of 16 I learned keyboard / syntheziser and started writing music and recording as well. So in late 1988 I opened my own professional recording studio, called CALIFORNIA SOUND STUDIOS, bought my first mixing console from the famous producer Frank Farian (Boney M, New Kids on the block, a.s.o.) and a heavy 16-track STUDER A 80 combined with some studio gears. Because I never studied sound engineering I had to learn a lot. After several years of experiences in nearby every music style I became even a teacher at a recording school for 3 years.
