In late February 2023, Drummer Jack Tripi, Guitarist Dom Rohlfing, and Bassist Neal Van Deusen got together for their first ever practice. By the end they had finished their first song as a band. Over the next few months the trio would write, while making multiple attempts to recruit Guitarist Matt Birgen into the mix, which he eventually obliged in June 2023. From there, Impressions continued writing, while auditioning a variety of vocalists. In September, after several months of what felt like a joke that went on too long, they finally found the missing piece in vocalist, Will Charles. The now 5-piece was finally complete. They spent the next few months finishing songs, and recording their debut EP, Everything's Golden in December. And their debut single "Say No To Rugs" was released on January 19th 2024. Their follow up "Somewhere, Ohio" will be released on February 28th, 2024.
