This is a new AI project I have started. The overall brand is called John Clay Waters Blue Collar Country. Being 100% transparent, all of the lyrics you'll see on my site are authentic and original. I've written most of the songs so far, but I have also collaborated with my Uncle in Tulsa, OK, who's in his 80s by the way. Neither one of us play an instrument nor have a band we can collaborate with, so, I found Suno.ai to help us get the "S" out of our heads, then to paper, then to music. One of our main goals for this experiment is to change the negative views, opinions and feelings about using AI to create music. My ultimate goal is to launch the John Clay Waters Blue Collar Country brand to be viewed and trusted as a safe place where amateur song writers can come to collaborate, create, and publish amazing music in the following genres: Old Country/New Country/Southern Rock, and maybe even some good ole' Ozark Blue Grass/Gospel.

Everything Gets Loud
I'm enrolled and in week 6 of the American Songwriter Foundations course. In week six, the exercise was to do sensory writing. We had the option of picking any one of the five senses and then write for 10 minutes without thinking and to jot down whatever came to mind. I chose: SILENCE. I chose this because when things get quiet, my mind starts to dig up all sorts of memories, feelings, etc... After the 10 minutes were up, we had to start constructing a song. Here is my final version after many many revisions. Hope you enjoy.more

Oh Tennessee
I wrote this song based on my wife's first husband and his challenges with alcoholism and drug addiction. I write this trying to view life from his perspective, but knowing that healing can and will happen eventually. more
