Just Rype, or more intimately known as Ryan Persson, was born and raised in the heart of South Africa. Inspired by the likes of Juice WRLD, iann dior, Alec Benjamin and ericdoa, Ryan’s continuous versatility produces well-rounded mixtures of melodies, moods and atmospheres. From the moment he began his musical journey, he burned with a fuelled passion to perfect his art and shoot only upwards. He is a dedicated artist who puts every piece of himself into his music and is not afraid to show a vulnerable side. Rype strives to make a difference in a seemingly empty, voided world and, therefore, his music aims to bring about change in any individual’s life. He believes his art to be a success if, “someone can relate to it on a deeper level or if it brings someone true tranquility in any way.”
