I decided to represent the two people who came together to create me. Lopez is my fathers last name that I carry & Gaines us the last name that I carry from her which created me an image of them. So a nickname that derived from the streets then I gave it meaning years later is sad oke thing I can let go and transition into a new life. Born in raised in Jersey City and lived in East Orange, NJ & after joining the military at 17 years old, I lived in Virginia for 10 years, California for 3, Bahrain for 1 year, I spent a lot of time in Texas, Florida Memphis & Philadelphia.
