Skyler Wexler is a Canadian actress/singer/songwriter from Ontario with Autism, BPD, and PTSD. Her artistry has always lived in the space between vulnerability and survival. First recognized on screen for roles in projects like Orphan Black, Skyler spent years growing up in front of audiences, but her newest music marks the first time she’s allowing listeners to truly hear her.
Written during an intensely formative chapter of her life, Skyler’s songs were created while navigating severe mental health struggles, trauma, and the aftermath of years spent fighting to be taken seriously by the medical system. Deeply personal and emotionally unfiltered, the project explores themes of isolation, identity, institutionalization, grief, recovery, and what it means to rebuild yourself after surviving things that were never supposed to happen to you in the first.
