Brooklyn New York

Born in New Jersey and shaped by the streets of Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Brooklyn, Yusuf, known artistically as Yu Trapalot, tells stories rooted in real life. After spending nearly a decade in Brooklyn, he’s turning his experiences, struggles, and lessons from the streets into music that speaks to survival, ambition, and change. At 25, Yu Trapalot is focused on transforming his past into purpose — using his voice and sound to inspire others who come from the same environments he did. His music reflects the realities of street life while pushing a message of growth, resilience, and elevation. More than just an artist, Yu Trapalot represents evolution — proving that your beginnings don’t have to define your destiny.
