Train Williams is an independent artist who refuses to stay in one lane. Moving between vaporwave, synthwave, punk, metal, lo-fi, alternative, acoustic, and whatever else fits the song, his music is built around experimentation, atmosphere, and doing things his own way. While vaporwave, synthwave, punk, and metal make up a big part of his sound, no genre is completely off the table. One release might be washed in nostalgic synths and late-night neon, while the next is loud guitars, raw vocals, and punk energy. Much of the music is written and recorded independently, with a DIY approach that keeps the imperfections, personality, and human feel intact. Train Williams makes music based on whatever he wants to hear, whatever he is feeling, and whatever sounds interesting enough to chase.
