VEXA isn’t a persona. It’s what’s left when survival stops being quiet. I was raised in environments where love came with conditions, where silence felt safer than honesty, and where shrinking yourself was the cost of staying. That doesn’t disappear when you grow up—it follows you. Into your relationships. Into your voice. Into the way you learn to endure things you should’ve never had to survive. VEXA is the breaking point. This project was built from everything I was taught to suppress—rage, grief, fear, truth. The things that make people uncomfortable. The things that don’t fit neatly into “healing.” I’m not interested in pretending it’s pretty. I’m interested in making it real. Every song is a release. Every lyric is something I didn’t get to say when it mattered. Every scream is proof I made it out. This isn’t music for background noise. It’s for people who have felt controlled, erased, or rebuilt themselves from nothing. It’s for the moment you stop asking for permission
