My story is one that includes abandonment, abuse, addiction, homelessness, and incarceration. As a way of processing the pain that I've experienced God led me to write. Through that, I was led to create the Ten23 Project which is an album and a book to help tell my story of God's redemptive love and how it completely changed my life forever.
I'm sure all of us have experienced painful circumstances throughout our lives and have lost hope along the way. I want to share with you how God took my tragedy and turned it into a powerful testimony. I believe in the power of our testimonies, I believe that we all have a story to share and my hope is that sharing this story with you will inspire you to do the same.
As a writer I'm sharing my words, as a lyricist I'm sharing my feelings and as a human, I'm sharing my heart. My dream is to one day be able to go back into the jails to share the inspirational journey that God let me walk on. I invite you to walk on this journey with me.

Light Shines In The Darkness
This spoken word piece was written towards the end of me preparing for my album. I was inspired by the bible scripture John 1:5 " The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." I resonated with this scripture because I've overcome so much pain in my life. I will not be consumed by darkness, because the light of Jesus will shine through me. This piece that I wrote is telling my story through a different viewpoint. The real depth of my pain, and how I will continue to overcome it.

God I Know You Got Me
This song was not only the first song I've ever written, but I wrote it while I was incarcerated inside CCA in Davidson County (now DCSO), I was facing up to 30 years in prison, I was scared, grieving, and away from my family. In a time where I didn't know what my future looked like, turning to God was the best decision I made. I hope that when you listen to this song it can encourage to turn to God in your time of need.
